Brian Donovan’s lifelong fascination with precision and performance began with a love for all things mechanical- an enthusiasm that led to a successful engineering career at General Electric. Yet, his true passion always belonged to the automobile. Drawn by the design engineering, and heritage of classic cars, Brian immersed himself in the world of vintage racing and restoration. 

In 1990, he took a bold step and transformed his passion into his life’s work-Donovan Motorcar Service was born. 

Guided by Brian’s genuine devotion to craftsmanship and authenticity, Donovan Motorcar Service quickly earned a reputation as one of the most trusted names in the restoration and care of fine automobiles. From vintage British and European classics to rare domestic models, the Donovan team brings meticulous attention to every detail. 

Our expertise spans marques  such as Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Jaguar, MG, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rover, Saab, Volkswagen, Volvo, and more. Whether maintaining a modern European car or restoring a storied classic, every project reflects our commitment to excellence. 

Within Donovan’s own  stable resides the Jaguar Vintage Racing Team-one of the most successful and respected teams in vintage racing. Managed personally by Brian Donovan, the team exemplifies the same precision, performance and passion that define the Donovan name.
